Are you eligible?

You need to show that you are capable of committing to at least three years of research in order to complete your PhD and also have achieved good results in your prior studies.  Most students will have a Masters degree (getting a distinction in your Masters will be in your favour if you also wish to be considered for funding), a first class or a very good second class degree in their undergraduate studies before being considered.

When considering your application the department will need to see the following:
•    A completed application form with a Statement of Purpose
•    A transcript of your previous studies
•    Two academic references
•    A detailed research proposal
•    Evidence of English Language ability if necessary
