Your grades

You may well be tempted to ‘convert’ your grades into the British equivalent but the best advice is to put your expected grades in your own terms, for instance if your transcript will have a Grade Point Average, or a percentage, it will be wise to write your expected grade as a GPA or as a percentage.

The university you are applying to will be able to convert your grades into the equivalence of a 2:1 or 2:2 or first class degree (see the Jargon Buster webpage for further information). There is also a National Academic Recognition Information Centre which all educational establishments have access to so that they can find out more about your specific qualifications and evaluate them accordingly.
